Pure & Packed with Benefits.
Manuka honey is one of the most beneficial forms of honey, and two ingredients set it apart from others: MG (methylglyoxal) and hydrogen peroxide. These two naturally occurring elements make Manuka honey a powerful anti-bacterial and antimicrobial agent. MG is in most honey, but when harvested by bees from the nectar of the Manuka flower it is pure and highly concentrated.
Most important, Manuka honey is rated based on an industry-standard rating called UMF®: Unique Manuka Factor. The industry standard minimum rating is UMF® +5 and medically rated Manuka honey starts at UMF® +10. Our ingredient is UMF® +16, assuring authenticity and purity (it is not mixed or extended with lesser honeys).
Our Manuka Honey is Sustainably Harvested in New Zealand.
Manuka honey contains a molecule that’s different from other forms of honey. It’s harvested exclusively in New Zealand, and takes its unique properties from tea trees that grow near the bee colonies that produce it. (Honey often takes on regional properties based on pollination with plants nearby the colonies.) Manuka honey is packed with the benefits of tea tree oil.
